I recently completed my Master of Science degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and am now working as a reporter for The Smoking Gun, a crime and investigative news website based out of New York City.

Before joining TSG, I had worked as a fact-checker at the New York Times Syndicate, an Olympic Games reporter for City Weekend Magazine in Beijing, China, and an analyst for the University of Toronto G8 Research Group, where I covered two G8 summits (including one Bono benefit concert!). This past summer I also helped produce a documentary series called The Vice Guide To Everything, which can currently be seen on MTV every Monday at 11pm EST.

Aside from tweeting in inverted pyramids and Facebook-stalking potential sources, I enjoy long rides on my bike, watching obscure winter sports, and hunting for the best burger in the city.
